2010 ,A m p u t a t i o n " at THE ART PROJECTS, June29, July 17
I’ve been working on this on-going Art project entitled “amputation"
since 2001. This anti war piece which is a dedication to the victims of
violence is an installation of a pile of several thousands of plaster
casts of hands and fingers. I decided to work on this project some 10
years ago when I was surfing internet and I saw this picture at
RAWA. That is where the idea and title of the project came up.
“Amputation” is now on display from June the 29th to July the 17th, 2010 at The Art Project gallery in London, Ontario.

در سال 2001 ضمن گشت و گذار در اینترنت به این عکس برخوردم و ایده کار بر روی اثر "قطع عضو" از آنجا گرفته و شروع شد. از آن پس در تابستان هر سال با قالب گیری از دستان و انگشتان مردم بر روی آن کار کرده ام. امسال این اثر از 29 ژوئیه تا 17جولای 2010 در گالری آرت پراجیکت در لندن آنتاریو در معرض دید عموم خواهد بود، و در پایان اولین هفته ماه جولای یعنی از 8تم تا 11دهم جولای به مدت چهار روز در مرکز شهر لندن مثل سالهای فبل بر روی همین اثر ادامه کار خواهم داد.
